Our Courses & Workshops
An Academic Legacy Built on Hands-On Training
Since 2017, our team has been designing and delivering international courses, scientific meetings and webinars in the field of facial and aesthetic plastic surgery, consistently combining strong academic content with a clear focus on practical training.
Over the years, we have worked with leading surgeons and recognised scientific societies to design academic programmes that integrate high-level theory with real hands-on experience in the lab and in simulation-based environments.
Global Hands-On was created to consolidate and scale this experience internationally. As a US-based company, we specialize in the design, organization and execution of surgical training events, transforming solid academic concepts into well-structured, professionally managed courses with robust logistics, transparent processes and global reach for institutions, societies and industry partners.
Hands-On Know-How
At Global Hands-On, we don’t just organize events – we design hands-on surgical training formats that have already been tested and refined in real international courses.
Drawing on the experience of programmes such as Bogotá Hands-On (since 2018) and Miami Hands-On (since 2024), we help institutions, societies and industry partners create high-impact training experiences in facial plastic and aesthetic surgery.
Our course formats are ideal for:
- Plastic surgeons
- ENT surgeons / otolaryngologists
- Facial plastic surgeons and related disciplines
Each programme combines:
- Structured theoretical modules – lectures, case discussions and interactive Q&A
- Hands-on training – in cadaver labs and/or with advanced surgical simulators, where participants can practise key steps of real procedures, step by step, in a controlled, mentored environment
These formats have already attracted surgeons from Latin America, Europe and the United States, proving their value in diverse, international settings.
If your hospital, society, clinic or company is interested in developing a similar hands-on course or educational activity, Global Hands-On can adapt this know-how to your specialty, location and audience.
In person, Webinars & Virtual Programs
Since 2020, this educational ecosystem has also expanded into digital formats, including the creation of a successful webinar series and other online programs focused on facial plastic surgery and related fields.
These webinars and virtual courses, developed both for Facialis Academy and other international scientific societies, have reached audiences of up to 600 unique live attendees per event, complementing our in-person trainings and extending the impact of our educational model worldwide.
To date, more than 5,000 unique attendees from over 50 countries have taken part in our programmes worldwide, both on site and online, further extending the reach and impact of our educational model.
Over the years, the faculty at our events has included internationally recognized experts such as Ira Papel, Mark Taylor, Steven Pearlman, José Antonio Patrocinio, Luiz Carlos Ishida, Steven Cohen, Fausto López Ulloa, Dean Toriumi, Neil Gordon, Andrew Jacono, Neil Gordon, Hesham Saleh, Regan Thomas, Fernando Pedroza, Paulo Andrés Escobar and Alexandra Mora, among others. Their participation has helped establish these formats as trusted references in advanced surgical training, particularly in facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty.
Pioneers in Simulator–Based Hands-On Training
Since 2019, our team has been a pioneer in organizing hands-on rhinoplasty trainings using high-fidelity simulators, offering a structured, cadaver-free alternative for surgeons who want to refine their skills in a safe and repeatable environment.
We have designed and delivered simulator-based rhinoplasty workshops in Latin America and the United States, integrating them into broader course formats that combine lectures, live case discussions and practical sessions.
These programs allow participants to practise key steps of rhinoplasty — such as approach, nasal tip work, septal techniques and dorsal modification — on realistic models that reproduce patient-specific anatomy. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, surgeons can repeat manoeuvres, receive direct feedback and build confidence before translating these skills to the operating room.
This early and sustained experience in simulator-based training is now a core part of the know-how that Global Hands-On offers to institutions, societies and industry partners interested in developing modern, high-impact hands-on education. Building on this trajectory, we developed our own USPTO-patented Training Station for Surgical Procedures as the platform of choice for advanced rhinoplasty and other surgical simulation programs.
Partner with Global Hands-On
We help partners turn educational ideas into fully executed, hands-on surgical training experiences.
Beyond our own courses, Global Hands-On collaborates with medical societies, hospitals, clinics and industry partners that wish to develop proven, high-impact training formats in new countries or regions, drawing on our track record of successful hands-on events and robust organizational infrastructure. Leveraging our organizational know-how and technological platform, we support partners from program design and faculty selection to logistics, registration systems, payment processing and on-site execution – always keeping hands-on practice at the center of the educational experience.
