Global Hands-On Advanced Surgical Training

Global Hands-On is a US-incorporated surgical education company created by surgeons, for surgeons, specializing in international hands-on surgical training. We design and deliver hands-on surgical courses, live surgery workshops, scientific meetings, academic programs and webinars where hands-on training is always the differentiating element.

Our initial focus is on facial and body plastic surgery, but the methodology and platform we’ve built can be applied to any surgical specialty that values immersive, procedure-based learning. In parallel, we develop next-generation surgical simulators and training stations, creating realistic, cadaver-free environments that allow surgeons worldwide to refine their skills safely, repeatedly and in a structured way.

We organise live surgery courses, practical workshops, scientific meetings and academic programs where surgeons don’t just watch – they operate, dissect, suture and rehearse real procedures in a controlled environment.

Our team supports the full journey of an educational event: from concept, faculty selection and scientific program design to logistics, registrations, sponsor management and digital delivery through webinars and video-on-demand.

Our academic events have been endorsed and supported by prestigious scientific societies such as the AAFPRS, EAFPS and other international organizations, and our faculty regularly includes world-class surgeons with broad international recognition.

All our programs share one defining element: practice as the key differentiator. Whether through cadaver labs or advanced surgical simulators, every course is designed so that theory is immediately applied in a controlled environment, guided step by step by surgeons renowned for their teaching and academic leadership.

In addition to in-person training, we also have solid experience in the digital sphere, having successfully developed webinars and virtual courses with broad international reach. To date, more than 2,000 unique attendees from over 50 countries have participated in our programs worldwide, both on site and online, further expanding the impact of our educational model.

At Global Hands-On, we offer a dedicated consulting and co-organisation service to help you design, plan and execute successful, profitable events. Our team works with you step by step, from the initial concept and definition of learning objectives to faculty selection, programme structure, logistics, pricing strategy and post-event follow-up.

Whether you are a medical society, specialist group or a company in the healthcare sector planning an educational event around a specific product or technology, we can support you throughout the process. This includes identifying and inviting key opinion leader speakers, designing a solid academic programme and integrating hands-on sessions where participants can safely test and experience medical devices under expert guidance.

Over the years, we have supported medical societies and specialist groups in organising major national and international events, both in-person and virtual, ensuring high academic standards and a smooth experience for attendees, sponsors and faculty.

No matter where you are in the world, our expertise and network can help you identify the right local partners, venues and resources to bring your course or meeting to life. If you are interested in exploring a collaboration with Global Hands-On, we invite you to request a free introductory call so we can understand your project, share our experience and explain how we can support your next event.

Our work in this area focuses on two main applications: improving the technical skills of surgeons in training and creating realistic environments to validate new surgical devices and technologies before they reach the operating room.

Our Training Stations for Surgical Procedures use USPTO-patented technology to reproduce key anatomical features from real patient imaging studies, transforming CT and other scans into high-fidelity 3D models. By combining advanced 3D printing with carefully selected multi-material structures, we create anatomically accurate simulators with realistic haptic feedback that closely mimics tissue behaviour and surgical manoeuvres. These platforms can be integrated with advanced VR tools to add visual guidance, performance tracking and remote mentoring, enhancing both training and evaluation.

This approach makes it possible for universities, teaching hospitals, medical societies and industry partners to design hands-on teaching scenarios that are repeatable, cadaver-free and tailored to specific procedures or devices. From residency training modules to custom simulators for new implants or instruments, we help institutions build robust, modern hands-on education ecosystems based on surgical simulation.
